Care company Turnstone Residential Ltd has submitted an application to turn a house on High Mount in Donnington, Telford into a children's care home.
If the plans are approved, the four-bedroomed home would become a home for two children aged between seven and 17.
According to the application, the home would remain "nearly identical" to its current layout, save the removal of internal walls on the ground floor to make an open-plan kitchen/diner.
The planning statement reads: "The proposed plan is to retain the current layout. Additionally, a therapeutic room for 1:1 child support will be added, along with a manager’s room and second staff bedroom. Externally, everything remains the same."
In the last week, the company has also submitted an application for the conversion of a bungalow in Madeley into a children's care home.
