Benjamin Aldis, aged 36, of Bryn Glas, Welshpool, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place at the county town railway station on November 30, 2024.
Kate Price, prosecuting, told Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday (December 24) that Aldis was judged to be “too drunk to get on a train” back home to Welshpool.
He refused to leave the railway station, pushed a police officer and became “antagonistic” to staff.
“He was arrested and put in handcuffs but continued to make verbal threats,” said Mrs Price.
