Drink driver, 68, was caught over the limit driving to buy cigarettes in Telford amid marriage trouble
A man who drove to buy cigarettes after a difficult time with his wife was caught drink driving after she put the call in to police, a court was told.

Christopher Charles Jenns, aged 68 and of Birchmore in Brookside, Telford, pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared at Telford Magistrates Court on Tuesday (December 24)
Prosecutor Kate Price said Jenns had been spotted by police hitting the kerb and swerving in Brookside Avenue in a Ford Focus at 12.45am on November 22 this year.
Jenns was breath-tested and his reading of 97mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath was nearly three times the legal limit (35mcg per 100ml).
