The  Knife Angel will be at The British Ironwork Centre, off the A5 south of Oswestry, in January for six weeks following an extensive awareness tour of the UK.

A spokesperson for The British Ironwork Centre said: “Our incredible Knife Angel is coming home in January!

“This sculpture, made from over 100,000 seized blades has been on a National Youth Anti-Violence Tour around the UK, but will be back on display at its birthplace in January for six weeks.”

The Knife Angel was created to highlight the negative effects of violent behaviour 'whilst solidifying our critical need for social change'.

“Not only does the angel act as a catalyst for turning the tide on violent and aggressive behaviour, but it is also acts as a beautiful memorial designed to celebrate those lives who have been lost through these violent and thoughtless actions,” the spokesperson said.
