Revealed: The best 20 primary schools in Shropshire for pupils reaching 'expected standards'
The latest data from the 2023-24 academic year has revealed the best performing primary schools in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

The latest performance figures show 61 per cent of children across England reached the expected standard across reading, writing and maths when assessed at the end of the year 6.
In data from the 2023-24 academic year, 57 per cent of pupils in Shropshire reached the expected standard, while in Telford & Wrekin it was 62 per cent.
But which schools in the area performed the best? We rank the top 20 below:
1. Stottesdon Church of England Primary School
In first place is Stottesdon Church of England Primary School near Cleobury Mortimer, where 94 per cent of pupils at the school met the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
2. St Lucia's Church of England Primary School and Nursery
Coming in second place is St Lucia's Church of England Primary School and Nursery – the school had a score of 89 per cent.
3. Minsterley Primary School
With 88 per cent of pupils meeting the expected standard, Minsterley Primary School is third on the podium of the best performing primary schools in the county.
