Tim Stevens, 36, from Telford, has now completed the incredible mega-marathon challenge, all in aid of Shropshire's Severn Hospice.
Sponsorship for his feat has now reached £3,185 on Tim's JustGiving page - with the total expected to reach nearly £4,000 with Gift Aid.
People can still sponsor Tim for his stunning efforts, which were completed on Sunday (January 5) as he was greeted by friends, family and a representative of Severn Hospice when he jogged into St Georges Cricket Club.
Incredibly he had never run a full marathon before mid-December, when he took on the distance in preparation for his challenge.
Despite problems with his knee, toenail, and a blister, Tim kept going, finishing in the cold and snow while most of us were wrapped up warm inside.
Speaking after he finished Tim, who is a window-cleaner by trade, said he was delighted at the amount his efforts had raised, and hoped a few more donations would still come in.
He chose to support the charity which had looked after his own grandmother, and was where his grandfather had also volunteered.
He said: "You don't hear a bad word about them. Everything you hear is 'they looked after so-and-so, they looked after this person, looked after that person' - you don't hear anything bad at all.
"And they are local, I would rather do something for a local charity - every charity is good, but I would rather look after the local stuff."
Tim said he had faced some issues during the run - such as the pain in his knee, likely caused by overcompensating after the blister - but was hugely thankful for the support he had received, including from friends who joined him for some of the challenge.
He said: "As the days have gone on, since eight it has been a bit better and I want to thank everyone. There's a fair few lads that have joined me on the bike and then joined me for half or full runs, so it has been good really. It is something, it's like a goal to have over the Christmas break, so thank you."
Asked what he'd be doing to relax and recover after his efforts, Tim said he would be heading to the gym - but for a well-deserved hour in the sauna, and definitely no exercise.
And while he's heading for a deserved rest Tim also hinted that he may be planning "something bigger" for the future, so watch this space.
