James Rees appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday but he did not enter a plea.

The 43 year-old of Walled Gardens, Stanford Road, Great Witley is charged with driving a Ford Transit van at Oaklands in Builth Wells on June 2 2024 with 211 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine, the legal limit being 107 milligrammes.

Magistrates adjourned the case until January 21 at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court for his solicitor to attend.

Rees remains on unconditional bail.
