Endean Palmer of Hammer Fields, Woodside in Telford, was spotted behind the wheel of a car in the town by police officers on May 13 last year.

A trial had heard that when police began pursuit of the 34-year-old, Palmer drove off at “significant speed”, driving dangerously around the streets of Telford, before hitting two cars.
