A group seeking to protect rural Shropshire has warned the bombshell dropped over the county's local plan could spell chaos.

Earlier this week Shropshire Council published a letter from inspectors tasked with carrying out the examination of its local plan.
The letter will have made for sombre reading at Shirehall, with the inspectors describing the authority's current plans a 'unsound'.
They have given the council until the end of the month to come up with a plan to fix the issues within six months - or they will be asked to take the nuclear option of withdrawing the plan altogether.
If Shropshire Council is left without an up-to-date local plan it leaves the authority open to speculative developments.
