Staff at the UK's National Cycle Museum in the Automobile Palace, Llandrindod Wells are looking forward to their annual Cycle Jumble on Saturday, April 12.

They are appealing for unwanted cycle spares in good condition for the charity to sell at the event or to use to replace parts on some museum cycles. Complete cycles are not needed.

A spokesperson for the museum said: “If  Mid Wales journal readers are having a  shed or garage sort out and they have  no use for  good older cycle spares they may find, please  email  fredaatvillas2002@yahoo.co.uk  to arrange collection / delivery.”

If donors can deliver any suitable parts  on a Monday, when the museum is normally  open during winter months, they  can have a free look around the magnificent displays in the museum.

Various new displays have been created in the recently renovated building .

The cycle jumble sale will be held at Cefnllys School on Spa Road on April 12.

Sellers will be welcome from 8.30am and the cost of a stall will be £10 inside or £7 outside.

Buyers will be welcome from 9.30am for £1 or pre-9.30am for £4.
