Student, 26, died in 'near head-on' Shropshire crash after losing control on bend
A student died in a “near head-on” crash in Shropshire after losing control on a bend, an inquest was told.

Gemma Margaret Hawksey, aged 26, died at the scene on the A442 at Echoes Hill, near Bridgnorth on August 21 last year after the Kia Picanto she was driving collided with an oncoming Mercedes.
An inquest into her death at Shropshire Coroner’s Court, Guildhall, Shrewsbury, was told that emergency services were called to the scene and found Miss Hawksey unresponsive.
Despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save her and Miss Hawksey was pronounced dead at 4.20pm.
Miss Hawksey was from Macclesfield, Cheshire, but lived in Bath, Somerset.
