Specialist school in Whitchurch for girls who have suffered trauma wants to relocate and expand
Inspectors have given their blessing to expansion plans by an independent school for girls who have experienced trauma.

Ofsted visited Physis Academy on December 11 last year after the school proposed to move to a new premises and increase the number of pupils on its roll from 11 to 45.
The inspection was commissioned by the Department for Education to "establish whether the school would be likely to meet all of the relevant independent school standards" if the proposed material changes were to be implemented.
The independent school in Whitchurch, which was rated 'Good' by Ofsted after an inspection in November 2023, provides education for girls who have been victims of trauma.
The school's owner Physis Care said it specialises in providing residential care, therapy and education for children and young people aged between 11 and 18 years old who are experiencing, or are at high risk of, exploitation.
A report on the visit by Ofsted says some pupils have an education, health and care plan, and that many attendees live in the company’s care homes.
