Firefighters called after mechanical fault causes car fire in Telford village
Firefighters were called to a residential area in Telford to deal with a fire involving the engine compartment of a car.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 3.10pm reporting the car fire on Wooley Road in Lawley.
One fire crew was sent from Whitchurch Fire Station to the scene.
Crews discovered a fire involving the engine compartment of one 'privately owned car' that was due to a mechanical fault.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The incident concluded at 3.38pm
