Firefighters tackle park bench fire on popular Telford walking route
Firefighters were called to a popular walking route in Telford after a fire involving a bench.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 4.54am reporting a fire in the open along the Silkin Way.
One fire crew was sent from Tweedale Fire Station to the scene on the 14 mile-long walking and cycling route.
SRFS reported that the incident involved a park bench that was 100 per cent involved in fire.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet, shovels, forks and brooms to tackle the fire and make the scene safe.
The incident concluded at 5.13am.
