Exam success for Balfours employee Elly
A Shropshire residential sales negotiator is celebrating exam success.
Less than twelve months after joining Balfours, last May as a residential sales negotiator, Elly Carpenter has achieved her first goal.
She has passed her Level Three Certificate for Estate and Lettings Agents (CELA). The CELA qualification entitles Elly to Membership status of The National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA).
Elly, who had previous experience with a property investment company, said: “At Balfours I have had a supportive team who have made me feel welcome. I had to brush up on lettings legislation, but once you are working in it that knowledge is fixed in, though we all know it is ever evolving. Nonetheless, being put on the spot for answers in an exam situation is inevitably challenging, so I am really pleased to have my Level Three in the bag.”
Head of sales at Balfours, Alistair Hilton says: “Elly is a pleasure to work with, professional and thorough. She is a great communicator and I know our clients, who are often undertaking the most important transaction, financially and emotionally, appreciate her support. Passing the exam so soon after joining us is a feather in her cap.”
“Elly, is part of Shrewsbury Square boutique team, having grown up in Nesscliffe and now living in Meole Village, she has an excellent understanding of Shropshire and surrounding counties. We are all very proud of her,” he added.
