Bond Wolfe said it has been instructed to sell the former Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Bank Road, Dawley.
The building was reportedly constructed in 1841, and was home to methodists and then a spiritualist church, before being taken over by the Jehovah's Witnesses.
The freehold, two-storey building is being sold empty with accommodation including offices, meeting rooms and ancillary areas of around 3,000 sq ft. It also has a large car park to the rear.
James Mattin, managing director agency at Bond Wolfe in Birmingham, said: “We are delighted to be offering this rare opportunity for sale in Telford.
“The property comprises a former place of worship and is considered ideal for a variety of uses. Its close proximity to the local road networks, combined with a large car peak to the rear, make it an appealing opportunity to a wide mix of would-be buyers.”
The site extends to 0.31 of an acre and currently has Class F1 planning permission for buildings such as places of worship, but could be repurposed in a number of ways, subject to planning permission, according to Bond Wolfe.
The firm highlighted the significant benefit of the site's separate access and rear car park.
At the end of Bank Road, a gated private driveway leads around to the back of the property where a large car park is situated, providing ample parking and rear access to the property.
