Police appeal to help catch Telford bin thieves - bins thrown off bridges and onto frozen water
Police are appealing for information after several Telford homeowners have reported having their bins stolen during the early hours of the morning.

PCSO for Hadley and Leegomery, Jordan Newborough posted on West Mercia Police's Neighbourhood Matters page saying residents in Hoop Mill, Hadley have reported having their bins taken by unknown males throughout this month.
The men have been described as wearing grey hooded tracksuits with black backpacks on and have took food bins before throwing them onto the Middle Pool when the water froze over.
Meanwhile, larger bins have been thrown over the side of the bridge on the A442.
One one occasion a slimy substance has also been thrown over the rear of a vehicle.
The post said: "We are seeking the public's assistance regarding some incidents in Hoop Mill, Hadley.
"A few homeowners have reported that their bins have been stolen/taken by unknown males in the early hours of the morning throughout this month and on one occasion a slimy substance was thrown over the rear of a vehicle. The males are described as wearing grey hooded tracksuits with black backpacks on.
"So far they have taken food bins and thrown them onto the middle pool when it was frozen and are taking the larger bins over the foot bridge on the A442 and throwing them over the side (not onto the road).
"If you witnessed anything suspicious in the area or have any information that may assist our investigation, please contact us via 101, quoting reference number 00192_I_20012025.
