Christmas raffle has raised over £1,200 to continue supporting a Radnorshire leg club.

The District nurses and volunteers at Knighton and Presteigne Leg Club have thanked everyone for their wonderful support, in particular to the businesses and supporters who gave prizes for the raffle and everyone who bought tickets and supported the raffle.

A spokesperson said: “The Christmas raffle raised over £1,200 and 100% of it will help us to continue to run the leg club every Thursday morning between 9.30am and 11.30am.

“The good news is that the drop-in service is back so no appointment is necessary to attend the leg club at Knighton Community Centre.

“Do come along and you will have friendly help from the district nurses and even a cup of coffee or tea. This service is given completely free although voluntary donations are very welcome.”
