Firefighters called to Telford medical practice after strong burning smell reported
Firefighters were called to a medical practice in Telford after an electrical fire within some strip lights.

The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 9.17am reporting a strong smell of burning at Dawley Medical Practice.
Two fire crews were sent from Telford Central Fire Station to the scene. An operations officer was also in attendance.
Firefighters discovered an electrical fire within strip lights at the centre.
Electrics to the lighting were isolated and advice was given to the medical practice for an electrician and alarm engineer to attend.
The fire crews used a thermal imaging camera to make the scene safe.
The incident was under control by 10.03am.
