Inspectors visited Canopy Children's Nursery, on Holyhead Road in Bicton on January 20 and were impressed with support for children, but also for staff and their well-being.

The education watchdog has rated the nursery as 'Good' across the board, meaning it has retained its grading from their previous inspection.

While the nursery celebrates the achievement, bosses, and husband-and-wife team, Daniel and Rachel Moelwyn-Williams said they remain committed to growing and improving, to ensuring that their team feels confident and that every activity enriches children’s experiences.

"We are thrilled that Ofsted has rated Canopy Shrewsbury as ‘Good,’ a reflection of the love, care, and dedication they put into supporting the children every day," said the Canopy Children's Nursery bosses.

"We would like to wish a huge thank you to their incredible team, the wonderful children, and their families for making Canopy Shrewsbury such a special place to learn and play."

Inspectors praised a warm and nurturing environment that is created at the nursery. They were able to see the nursery's 'kindness tree' that encourages positive behaviour and friendships.
