The 49-year-old, who was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail last week for fatally stabbing a Pomeranian dog in the neck, strangling his landlord and breaking a man’s leg in a pub rampage, has now been banned from contacting his ex indefinitely after admitting a charge of harassment at Telford Magistrates Court.

Forbes shouted: “I’m in f***ing jail!” from the dock, as he objected to prosecutor Kate Price asking for a restraining order for the victim.

The court was told that Forbes was in a relationship with the victim for around four months.

“Social services told her she shouldn’t be in a relationship with him or they would have to take her son into care,” said Mrs Price.

“She told him this, but he didn’t take it very well.”

The victim told Forbes “numerous” times that the relationship had to end, but he would not accept the reality.

She answered some of the calls as she "knew he would turn up" at her house in Shrewsbury if she didn’t.
