Residents are being invited to 'The Fairies of February Trail' at Ludlow Market to discover the magic of the south Shropshire town by finding hidden fairies scattered throughout the market.
The trail is free to attend and participate in and will run during Ludlow's regular markets on Wednesday, February 19 and Friday, February 21 between 11.30am and 2.30pm. Children can pick up their free trail from the activity stand at Ludlow Market.
Moreover, Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross is hosting a Valentine’s Trail with "love-themed activities".
Ludlow Town Council said visitors will have the opportunity to "reunite Ludlow’s Love Bugs whilst exploring the museum’s collection".
The Valentine’s Trail is running from Friday, February 14 until Sunday, February 23.
Visitors to Ludlow Museum will also have an opportunity to explore the temporary exhibition "Elizabeth Charmer: Survival, Love, Heartache".
The exhibition takes a poignant look at the life of a 19th century woman who defied societal expectations, and is inspired by Cora BB’s novel, In the Shadow of the Linney.
It coincides with International Women’s Day on March 8, providing a timely reflection on women’s history and empowerment.
Ludlow Museum is open between Friday and Sunday and on Bank Holidays between 10am and 4pm.
Entry costs £1.20 for adults while children under the age of 16 can attend for free.
