'Labour’s approach threatens to place unbearable financial pressure on farms' - MP questions 'Family Farm Tax'

An MP has pledged to continue to stand up for Shropshire farmers after intervening in a Parliamentary debate to criticise the Government's plans to impose the 'Family Farm Tax'.

North Shropshire MP, Helen Morgan has labelled Labour's plans as "damaging" and pledged to fight the agricultural sector’s corner during this "incredibly tough economic time".

Speaking in a Westminster Hall debate, Mrs Morgan highlighted what she believes would be an 'unfair impact' on family-run farms.

The MP also questioned why the Government has "failed" to consider more targeted alternatives".
