Husband and wife, Sebastian and Megan Budd, both 31, are getting ready to open a new store in Newport town centre.

Quest Keepers, which opens this Saturday (February 8), will be a tabletop miniature gaming store - selling miniature figurines for games including Warhammer along with painting supplies.

"Paints, brushes, airbrushes - everything you need to take your miniature from the box to the tabletop," explained Sebastian.

"We do other accessories too, things like dice cups, points counters, rules - those things we all design and manufacture ourselves - and we work with artists in the UK and abroad, license their designs and make them right here."

The duo had turned to tabletop gaming to keep them occupied during the coronavirus pandemic.

"We've always been interested in fantasy worlds, so we picked up a box of miniatures and many many pounds and many many hours later, we fell into this and absolutely love it," Sebastian added.

The store, which is located in Unit 6 in Salters Court, will open on Saturday from midday to 5pm.
