More than 400 properties in Telford hit by power cut

National Grid reported that 405 properties in the postcode area of TF2 were affected by a 'high voltage' incident.

The power company stated that these incidents tend to be larger and affect a wider area, and could be why several other residents and neighbours are also without power.

The incident was first reported at 11.57am, and National Grid originally anticipated that the problem would not be resolved until 1.30pm.

However, by 1.10pm, power had been restored to the properties.
