More than £5,000 was raised for Angel Carpenter and her one-year-old daughter Frankie, after fire ravaged her Severn Street home in Bridgnorth on Friday, January 24.
While fire crews from Bridgnorth Fire Station soon got the blaze – caused by an electric fault which led the air fryer and two aerosols to explode – under control, the incident caused substantial damage to the home - destroying clothing, bedding, toys and furniture.
Mum Emma Carpenter set up a fundraiser after the blaze, as daughter Angel was uninsured.
The fundraiser saw generous residents dig deep with £5,402 raised.
Now Emma says Angel and Frankie's home is being renovated, but in the meantime her daughter is seeking temporary accommodation.
She said: “If anyone knows of any property, short term rental in the Bridgnorth or Much Wenlock and surrounding areas, please get in touch.”
She added that a holiday home or Airbnb would be suitable but would be needed for three months while Angel's home is being renovated.
Anybody that can help is urged to contact Emma via Facebook.
