A Thai box office sensation, Pat Boonnitipat’s irresistible debut is a proven tearjerker.
When his grandmother Amah (Usha Seamkhum) is diagnosed with terminal cancer, young slacker M (Putthipong Assaratanakul) moves in to care for her.
His newfound devotion seems altruistic, but it’s her multi-million-dollar fortune he’s really after. Unfortunately, it turns out it’s harder to win his shrewd grandmother’s favour than he thought – plus, he’s only one in a number of interested parties.
Grounded in empathy, given a dose of realism and grit by its excellent lead performances and a story that offers matter-of-fact touches on the physical and emotional realities of end-of-life care, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies is a journey to redemption story with wit and heart.
It will be screened to Knighton Community Centre on Friday, February 28 at 7.30pm.
The film will run for 126 minutes and there will be an interval.
Tickets are £6.50 for adults and they are available by calling 07964 023841
