The authority's transformation and improvement overview and scrutiny committee met this morning (Tuesday, February 11).
The committee had received a question from a member of the public, anti-relief road campaigner Mike Streetly, over information about the impact of the road, which the council has shared with organisations including the local NHS and the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
But the committee's chair, Councillor Claire Wild, said the question would not be discussed after legal advice.
She said it would instead be directed to the council's cabinet to answer - although her response said the committee had been provided with an answer.
