Four out of 45 motorists were detected travelling above a 30mph speed limit in Morville.
Police Community Support Officer for Broseley and Much Wenlock, Helen Scott and Inspector Damien Kelly carried out speed enforcement and patrols in the village near Bridgnorth.
PCSO Scott said residents have raised road safety concerns with officers, in particular about speeding.
Officers were pleased to report that 91 per cent of drivers were travelling under the speed limit - with an overall average speed of 28.6mph.
PSCO Scott said motorists who were caught speed were "dealt with appropriately".
A post on the force's Neighbourhood Matters page said: "Speeding can have a devastating impact on the safety of road users, increasing the risk of a collision and the severity of the consequences.
"If prosecuted for speeding, the minimum penalty is a £100 fine and three penalty points."
