A group of Key Stage Two children represented Broseley's John Wilkinson Primary School and Nursery at this year's Young Voices at the BP Pulse Arena on Friday, January 31.
Pupils performed an extensive collection of songs and sang with award-winning singer and social media star MC Grammar, who aims to make learning fun through music and rap; Strictly Come Dancing's lead singer Tommy Blaize and former Britain's Got Talent finalist Souparnika Nair.
Molly Brennan, a Year Three pupil at John Wilkinson Primary, said: "I just loved it. I enjoyed performing to all the parents. I was so excited I didn't get much sleep the night before."
Young Voices has been running for more than 29 years. Concerts take place in January and February each year.
On the day of the concert, the choir, along with 9,000 other young voices, rehearse together for the first time before a breathtaking concert and performance with special guest artists in the evening.
Skye Wainwright, another pupil, added: "My favourite song was Pop Medley. It was great to see all of the dancers and Andy from Urban Strides."
Mrs Tara Boam, Young Voices lead teacher at the primary school, was exceptionally proud of her pupils.
"Young Voices is such an inspiring experience for our pupils," she said. "We have lots of children who show great aptitude within the creative arts and so to be able to offer them this opportunity has been really worthwhile. The children have been working hard since September to learn lots of songs and dances and we are really proud of each and everyone them."
