Last week it was revealed that Telford had been chosen from a shortlist of towns and cities across the UK to land its own Monopoly board.
The public was then invited to send in suggestions for landmarks and organisations to be featured in the game over a two-week nomination period, with the game hitting the shops in time for Christmas 2025.
Now, almost one week into the consultation, the game-makers have revealed some early findings.
A spokesperson at Winning Moves UK - who is producing the board under license from Hasbro - said the top two nominations had already become clear with residents wanting to see the Iron Bridge and Thomas Telford statue near the Magistrates Courts included on the board.

The company revealed that other suggestions included changing the Go To Jail space to 'Go To Shrewsbury' while another suggested Free Parking should become Free Hospital Parking.
But Winning Moves said one thing seemed clear - that the game should be extended and renamed: MONOPOLY: Telford & Wrekin Edition.
“That looks extremely likely now,” said Mr Ladd Gibbon, custom games executive at Winning Moves UK.
“It’s been a very productive – and creative – public consultation process so far.
"We would like to formally thank each and every person who has sent in nominations – we shall be studying each and every one once the polls have closed, which is next week.
“Some of the suggestions have been hilarious – although we shall see which ones we are able to incorporate into the board. Please do keep them coming!"
The public is being invited to suggest Telford landmarks to be featured on the famous spaces, as well as the wording for the Chance and Community Chest cards.
Polls are open until 11.59pm on Wednesday, February 19. Suggestions can be made by email to telford@winningmoves.co.uk
