Visitors to Attingham Park are being invited to see the Snowdrop Wood in a new light for half term

Grounds of the 18th century estate are being illuminated by a local light and sound artist and animator like never before.

The Snowdroop Wood of Attingham Park, near Shrewsbury, will be illuminated with fairy lights and spotlights from Wednesday (February 12) to Friday (February 14).

Free for National Trust members and only £11 per adult and £5.50 per child for non-members, the display promises to be a captivating experience for all.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy engaging projections in the Walled Garden by local light and sound artist and animator Andy McKeown.

The lights will switch on from 4.30pm with the last entry at 6.30pm. The displays will remain lit every afternoon throughout the February half-term, though hours will differ.

Attingham Park is home to 200 acres of parkland and a Grade I-listed country house. A range of other activities are taking place this February too, including an outdoor family trail for “the first signs of spring”.
