There’s no shortage of flower shops in the beautiful county of Shropshire but for the special occasions - first dates, birthdays, anniversaries - it can be difficult to decide where to get the perfect bouquet.
We asked Shropshire Star readers for their favourite florists to shop ahead of Valentine’s Day. Here’s what they had to say.

This Whitchurch florist, based in High Street, has been named one of the best by a number of Shropshire Star readers too.

Shropshire Star readers at Puddle Duck Cottages named Nettie of the Gorge Floral Studio, in Ironbridge, as one of the best flower shops in the county.

Shropshire Star reader Judith Shepherd-Clowes named Bloom in Frankwell, Shrewsbury, as one of the best flower shops in the county. It also boasts a 4.9 star rating on Google.

This flower shop has been named one of the best in Shropshire. It is located in Station Road, Minsterley.
Peony Faux Flowers
Shropshire Star reader Dawn Reynolds named Peony Faux Flowers in Stanton Road, Shifnal, as one of the best flower shops in the county. The business specialises in artificial flowers.
Flowerscape Florists
Elsewhere in Shrewsbury, Flowerscape Florists was shouted out by readers at Sophisticutz Hair & Beauty.
Flowers at The Maples
Shropshire Star reader Rachel Mason named Flowers at The Maples as one of the best in Shropshire. Rachel said to visit this independent Market Drayton shop for homegrown and “all British flowers”.
Flores Diem
Another top-rated flower shop Flores Diem, also based in Market Drayton, has been named one of the best by locals too.
Violas Florist
This Muxton flower shop, located in Wellington Road, has been named one of the best in the county by Shropshire Star reader David Copeland who said: “You won’t get better bouquets anywhere.”

Shropshire Star reader Sarah Kinloch named The Florist in Spring Gardens, Shrewsbury, as one of the best flower shops in the county.
Flowerfair
Also based in Telford, this flower shop was named one of the best in the county by Shropshire Star reader Julie Mellor. Flowerfair is based in Dawley High Street.
Twig's Flowers & Gifts
Shropshire Star reader Nikki Carter named Twig's Flowers & Gifts in Tower Street, Ludlow, as one of the best flower shops in the county.
The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed, in Lawley Gate, Telford, has also been named one of the best florists in Shropshire by Star reader Leah Tench-Hughes.
