New roundabout plans for A49 near Ludlow

Another planning application regarding a controversial housing development north of Ludlow has been submitted - this time for the erection of a roundabout.
Plans for the building of 213 homes on Bromfield Road in Ludlow were approved at the end of 2023, more than ten years since plans for the development were first unveiled in 2013.
Twice, the outline proposal was rejected by Shropshire Council's Southern Planning Committee - but a planning inspector approved the scheme in 2015.
