The recent list of Michelin Starred restaurants has acknowledged the excellence in cooking and service across the country, although one area was conspicuous by its absence.
Shropshire has a fine range of places offering quality food with excellent service and still have a keen and devoted following in their communities.
We asked our readers to tell us which restaurants they felt deserved that Michelin Star recognition and can reveal 10 restaurants which they felt were worthy of that honour across the region.

The New Inn is described as the essence of a traditional village pub that is favoured by both locals and visitors alike.
Recorded as a public house as far back as 1841, the building is steeped in history and is a place with food at its heart.

Set on the banks of the River Severn, owners and chefs Ben and Carla run the two-floored restaurant.
Customers are able to watch them both in action in the open kitchen, where their take on modern cooking delivers a blend of pronounced flavours and contrasting textures.
Local ingredients help to make up the diverse menu, with duck, cod and a cheese soufflé all popular parts of the menu.
