Firefighters rushed to a town centre clothes shop to tackle a blaze started by a discarded cigarette.

Two fire engines were sent to Joules, on the corner of Shrewsbury’s High Street and Mardol Head at around 1.53pm.
Crews used buckets of water to put the fire out.
A brief report on the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service incident log said: “Incident involving discarded cigarette from pavement level falling into basement level of Joules.
“Small fire involving a small quantity of paper which was out on arrival (of firefighters).
“Crews removed waste material from the premises and dampened down with buckets of water as a precaution.”
Fire engines were sent from Telford Central and Wellington on a busy afternoon for the county’s fire brigade. An operations officer was also in attendance.
