The festival is being held at the Ludlow Brewery Co in south Shropshire, during opening hours of 11am-6pm Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, 12pm-8pm Sunday. There will also be street food and entertainment during the weekend. The event is extremely popular with local beer aficionados and visitors.

The Pizza Girls will be firing up the oven on the Saturday to provide a range of pizzas, while The Beefy Boys will be grilling their popular burgers on the Sunday. Live comedy and music events will be held on the Friday and Saturday nights with tickets available from the brewery for the Friday Night Comedy Club, and Live Music Night on the Saturday night. The brewery’s popular monthly open mic Sunday Sessions takes place from 4-8.30 pm (free entry).

The Valentine’s Ale Massacre 2025 will be pouring real ales and craft beers from breweries in the Peak District and Norfolk, including fan-favourite independent brewers Thornbridge Brewery.

These include:

  • Steam Lager

  • Liquid Illuminati

  • Caramel Stout

  • Shire Horse Bitter

  • Sequoia

  • Grow On You

  • West Coast Pale Ale

  • Bull Of The Woods

  • Cinder Toffee Stout

  • Neepsend Blonde

And of course Ludlow Brewery Co's own ales will also be available all weekend.

Managing Director Gary Walters said: “We are looking forward to showcasing around 15 cracking guest beers, as well as our range of beers. It’s particularly exciting this year to be launching a collaboration beer with Nothing Bound brewery, a hazy 6% ABV ale called Concordia. Nothing Bound is a fantastic brewery, within 20 miles of Ludlow Brewery.”There’s always a brilliant atmosphere at our Valentine’s beer festival. With over 20 beers, lagers and ciders, as well as street food, a comedy night, gig, and open mic, there should be something for everyone to enjoy. The line up for this year is looking really good!”

Ludlow Brewery is housed in a converted Victorian railway shed at Station Drive, a five-minute walk from Ludlow Train Station.
