Nearly 1,000 properties in Shrewsbury hit with power cut
Nearly 1,000 properties in Shrewsbury have been left without power today.

National Grid has reported two separate incidents in the county town with one near Ditherington affecting 938 properties.
The 'high voltage' power cut was first reported at 2.52pm.
By 3.08pm, only 309 properties were without power.
Power is expected to be restored to all properties by 6pm.
Meanwhile, 40 properties near Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury have been left without power since 11.14am.
The problem is expected to be resolved by 10pm.
