Figures show that the service was used more last month compared to the same period last year.
Town councillors will discuss usage of the bus service at a meeting of the Community and Governance Committee on Thursday.
The service is currently subsidised by the local authority who decided to continue funding the provision following an increase in its popularity.
Recent figures reveal that 343 passengers used the service in total last month, with 100 people using it on Saturday, January 11 alone.
Providing travel on the service throughout January this year came at a cost of £411.60 for Market Drayton Town Council.
Meanwhile, in the same period last year, 326 people used the service, costing the town council £391.20.
The most the service has been used in one day in the last 12 months was on September 28 last year when the Ginger and Spice Festival was held in the town.
205 people used the Saturday bus service in total, and it cost the town council £556.80 throughout the month to subsidise free travel.
