The 18-hole course is in the heart of Oswestry’s Cae Glas Park, with it costing just £2 for adults and £1 juniors, or £5 for a family of two adults and two children.

However, Oswestry Town Council believe it needs modernising.

Minutes from a meeting held by the Cae Glas Park and Cemetery Management Group state that councillors discussed ideas for a specification to approach companies with.

It was resolved that it should have a minimum of 20 years longevity, be permanent, and be exciting and interesting.

“The current 18-hole crazy golf course is extremely popular, however has been in situ for a number of years,” said Arren Roberts, the clerk at Oswestry Town Council.

“Members have decided to replace what is there with a more modern course and we are at the very start of the process.”
