Full list of West Midlands council tax rises as nine in 10 areas of the UK face maximum hike
Councils across the country have proposed an increase to their 2025/26 tax rates - here is where your local council stands.

The vast majority of councils have signalled they will apply a maximum council tax increase of at least 4.99% this year.
Apart from Birmingham City Council, which has been given permission to raise council tax by 7.49%, all 13 upper-tier councils in the West Midlands which have disclosed their plans opted for a 4.99% increase.
City of Wolverhampton are yet to confirm their increase, according to figures released by PA.

Staffordshire: 4.99% confirmed
Warwickshire: 4.99% confirmed
Worcestershire: 4.99% proposed
Metropolitan Boroughs:
Birmingham: 7.49% proposed
Coventry: 4.99% proposed
Dudley: 4.99% proposed
Sandwell: 4.99% proposed
Solihull: 4.99% proposed
Walsall: 4.99% proposed
Wolverhampton: tbc
Unitary Authorities:
Herefordshire: 4.99% confirmed
Shropshire: 4.99% proposed
Stoke-on-Trent: 4.99% proposed
Telford & Wrekin: 4.99% proposed
