Darrell Slinger appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court via a video link from custody on Tuesday.

The 23 year-old of Lant Avenue faces a charge of escaping from lawful custody in Llandrindod Wells on August 28 2024 and sending grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing messages via a public electronic communications network on August 22 2024.

Magistrates sent the case to Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court for a hearing on March 18 and Slinger was remanded in custody until that date.
