House fire in Telford involving cooking fat - crews sent to the scene
Firefighters were called to a house fire involving cooking fat in Telford this afternoon (Thursday, February 20).

The incident took place in Buxton Way, Malinslee. The blaze was out before the fire brigade got there.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “At 4.45pm on Thursday, February 20, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as ‘kitchen fire’ in Telford.
“Small fire involving cooking fat, found to be out upon arrival of fire service personnel. Inspection only.”
Two fire engines were sent to the scene from Telford Central, as well as an operations officer.
