Shane Davies appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday to hear the Probation Service asking for an amendment to his order.

The 36 year-old’s order was made by Welshpool Magistrates Court on April 16 2024 and it included attendance at the Court Accredited Programme Building Better Relationships.

Probation Officer Ms Donna Davies said Davies of Maes View, Dolau has been engaging well on his order but he works four days on and then four days off and 12 hour shifts of 10am until 10pm and 10pm until 10am.

She said he has completed most of his unpaid work and nine rehabilitation requirement days focusing on relationship issues.

She said he is motivated to complete the Building Better Relationships programme but it is unworkable due to his employment commitments.

Davies told magistrates he had done a similar course previously.

Magistrates agreed to remove the Building Better Relationships programme but the rest of his community order will continue until October.
