Declan Williams of Coleham Row in Longden was sentenced to 14 months in prison in 2022 for a serious assault outside a nightclub.
Judge Peter Barrie had given Williams a suspended sentence for that assault, but the 22-year-old stood before the same judge at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Thursday, charged with four assaults against his partner.
The court heard that the first of these offences occurred on January 14 last year in Wellington, when Williams was still serving his suspended sentence.
The judge was also told that an assault on the same woman outside Telford Railway Station on July 11 last year, was particularly serious as a small child was present.
