Update issued on traffic lights set up after lorry ploughed into pub and takeaway near Shrewsbury

Restrictions were put in place on the A49 at Bayston Hill after a lorry ploughed into two buildings in November.
The crash caused major damage to both the Three Fishes Pub and the Hong Kong City takeaway.
The pub had only been bought by Black Country Ales a matter of days before.
Now National Highways, which is responsible for the management of the road, said that work has been taking place this week to allow the traffic lights to be removed.
National Highways Route Manager Joseph Walmsley said they will be removed 'early next week'.
He thanked the public for their patience during the disruption.
He said: "Utility company works have been taking place this week, we are now carrying out work to replace the pedestrian guard rail and once completed, the temporary traffic signals will be removed early next week.
“The temporary lights have been in place since November, for safety reasons, while third party works were carried out on the damaged buildings, and we thank people for their patience while this work has taken place.”
