Old Radnor Women’s Institute annual dinner
Old Radnor WI members and guests had an enjoyable afternoon and lovely Sunday lunch at The Harp Old Radnor for the annual dinner for the WI

The WI meeting was held in the week, welcoming Ann Lloyd, Federation Chairman of the WI, giving her talk of her taking part in an organised trip to find a bridle way across the Pennines in 1988.
Ann gave an entertaining encounter of the 200 miles the group rode horses across the Pennines taking them two weeks to do it, showing lovely pictures of villages and the beautiful scenery of the Pennines.
Nights were spent at B&B or other suitable places to groom and rest the horses for the night. The weather was kind and fine for the trip. A bridle path was eventually opened in 2002.
Ann presented cups to the winner and runner-up for the monthly competition in which the members take part.
The winner for 2024 was Ann Goodwin, runner-up Jo Gregory.
The March meeting will be the annual general meeting.
