In early February, it was revealed that Telford had been chosen from a shortlist of towns and cities across the UK to land its own Monopoly board.
The public was then invited to send in suggestions for landmarks and organisations to be featured in the game over a two-week nomination period, with the game hitting the shops in time for Christmas 2025.
Two weeks after the announcement, the game-makers said they were extending the board to feature organisations, businesses and landmarks all across Telford and Wrekin - not just in Telford.

Now, nominations are reopening as game-makers are asking residents to nominate their favourite local charities so two of them can feature on the game’s Community Chest spaces.
Ben Ladd Gibbon, of Winning Moves UK, who is producing the board under licence from Hasbro said: “We feel that the charities getting to feature on the board’s Community Chest spaces is a great fit."
For charities to qualify to be in the running, they must have links to Telford and Wrekin and be registered charities. The public can nominate charities and charities can nominate themselves.
Charity suggestions can be made up until 11.59pm next Monday (March 3) by emailing telford@winningmoves.co.uk.
