'Vile and manipulative' rapist actor Alexander Westwood will be sentenced for 26 sex crimes tomorrow
Rapist actor Alexander Westwood will finally be sent down for 26 sex crimes stretching back decades tomorrow.

The sentencing comes two months after a jury convicted Westwood, 24, of a litany of sex crimes including rape and sexual assault, concerning a girl, boy and three teenage pupils of his drama classes.
Following the disturbing four week trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court, the actor was given bail and allowed to spend Christmas at home, which infuriated victims leaving them 'vulnerable'.
However, as exclusively revealed by the Express & Star, Westwood, of Holyhead Road, Albrighton, was arrested two weeks ago for breaking his bail conditions and locked up giving him a taster to come for the next 15 years.
He was believed to have arrested after not staying at the address which he was legally mandated to stay at as part of his bail conditions. The wilful and entitled ignorance his bail conditions meant a charge of "breaking bail conditions" was added to his charge sheet.

Westwood pleaded not guilty to 26 counts during his trial which forced his victims to relive their trauma on the stand enduring hours of cross-examination by his lawyer.
Believing he could charm his way out of the accusations he told the jury each of his accusers had different motivations to falsely accuse him of his crimes. He even convinced his parents to give evidence on his behalf.
However, after hearing about the similar patterns of sexual abuse of different victims over several years, the jury found him guilty of every charge.
Judge Neil Chawla KC, who presided over the original trial, will sentence Westwood for each individual crime. The hearing could last more than three hours due to the sheer amount of crimes Westwood is guilty of.
Each of his victims will have the right to stand in court and read a victim impact statement about how his crimes affected their lives. If they find it too traumatic to read the statement in front of their former tormenter the prosecutor Andrew Wallace KC will read their words. Unlike the trial none will face cross-examination or character assassination which saw victims and their family members often leaving the court in a flood of tears.
The former BBC Doctors actor barrister James Bloomer KC will be given the chance to plea for mercy from the judge by giving mitigating factors to explain Westwood's crimes and if he shows any remorse for what he has done.
Westwood, who gave acting lessons to teenage girls, abused his pupils as well as threatening to sue them for not attending his sick classes, during which he demanded they recite scenes from classical literature naked.
Delusional about his destiny to be a star, Westwood regularly shared pictures from his life filming for various series, including Netflix's Sex Education.

A friend of one of his victims said: "Tomorrow will be a massive relief for all his survivors and victims, they will want to see for themselves such a vile manipulative man cannot damage them anymore."
