Kristiyan Dimitrov Nikolov, aged 28, was caught driving an Audi A3 on the A483 at Pool Quay, near Welshpool, on September 24 last year.
A drugs test found he had 3.3 micrograms of Delta 9 THC - the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis - per litre of blood. The legal limit, taking into account the possibility of accidental exposure, is 2mcg.
